On This Day... 27 October 2004!
What a Discovery for me today... the world of Blogs. The simple fascination of finding something new to me, like the days we open up the boxes to the new toys we had to play. The sheer excitement of receiving gifts & goodies from loved ones... The happiness of having something new to play just clouds my mind right now!
A blend of new discovery -The Blog & shyness to admit to being backdated with the trends of the Cyberworld - The existence of Blogs to write our daily devotion & journals, makes me wonder how much i'm left behind to the countless opportunities and avenues of the Internet to keep in touch & communicate!
Just last nite, i was lost like a little boy trying to figure out how to get myself in the List of my other friends in this thing called 'Friendster'... Tonite, i've found a new toy in figuring out my very own 'Blog'.......
I guess many of you reading this might be thinking : "Boy, is this guy for real?... sounds like he's been living in caves & tucked away with the dinosaur ages... more like he's only worth as an exhibit in the museum... Where did this guy come from, really?!"
In truth, I am feeling that right now...
I only had the time to browse through a couple of Blogs of my friends & I thought, IF i get myself all worked up and started on this Blog thingy, will i have the endurance & discipline to consistently get it going & keep this place alive for people to read... with the ultimate aim of providing a place to make known our conviction & thoughts to be a BLESSING to the readers... not just my thoughts but for anyone who wish to speak their minds with the 'intention' to encourage & build up... not forgetting the grace for this space as a place for anyone to release the steam they want to release to get on with life!
I've alwiz liked 27. The Day i was born... 27 January... today is 27... isn't it a coincidence?!... would be a great start to a Journey of Journals for me right here, my very own... Blog!!! :D
