The Three Dsss.

How many of u haf heard of the 3 Ds that are important for success...?
Someone shared with me a 4th one which i believe is the most vital!... ;)
1. Desire - Important to have this to start anything.
2. Discipline - Vital to have consistency to do it.
3. Determination - Crucial for persistence to see it through.
4. 'Death to self, Alive to Jesus' - In order to achieve much, we cant rely on our own strength which is limited... Need the renewal & freshness of God's strength to carry us on!

Since my new adventure in the Headhunting line,
i must say that i would appreciate every bid of Favor from God & then from man.
Need to renew my mind & heart to be prepared for the challenges of this new adventure...
'Generalisation' & 'Assumption', many say is the root of lots of 'boo-boos' and how true it is when we take things for granted and not be prepared for decisions we make.
Praying for a Successful career... what is success if God is not part of the picture?!
Psalm 127:1 says "Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain."
Guess i'm reminded to involve in every part of my life! :D

Well... well... itz another weekend. Yesterday was a break for us... yet i had the 'pleasure' of a business meeting with a client who came from Thailand... had a good time clearing some of the stuff in my house with my wife earlier in the day... not forgetting the joy of preparing & cooking dinner for important guests in the evening. A fulfilling day... looking forward to today - Thank God Itz Friday and then off for the weekend... ;)

Feeling... Fumbling... Finding...

A New Adventure for me indeed...
Itz Incredible! 2 months since my last post & it seems the blink of an eye.
3rd week into my new job... what do i do? "I hunt heads!"
Sounds pretty barbaric? Yes... A violent job? No...
Had some reservations when i first started work doing 'Executive Search', basically approaching companies that needs our services to hire middle to high level management.
Have early pressure to perform and meet numbers due to the quick 'tempo' of the way the business is run.
Settling in the culture of work around here where initiative and teamwork is vital to achieve targets & goals.
Thus, i'm feeling-fumbling-finding the hang of this new adventure! :D

A New Journey in life too...
The News is out there! My wife & i are expecting...
We are praying for a 'Gideon'... a Boy... a Warrior for God... someone who would stand up & be counted in these days of uncertainty!
Itz gonna be exciting... just thought of me being a father soon... the fact that i am scared of carrying babies (too small for my hands, afraid to hold their fragile being) but nevertheless i love playing with kids... something NEW for people who don't know this, eh?! ;P

A Continuation of this Blog, later... :)
