A Dozen Days Have Passed...

Time passed by so quickly... could still feel the unwillingness to let my wife leave when we waved goodbye @ the airport. Wished i could just jump over the barricade & follow her up the plane. However, reality sets in and my silent prayers for her safety & God's grace to be upon her... Thank God she's doing fine so far... Can't wait to have her back on Saturday morning.
Back to the story of life right after this....... ;) Later.

The Love of My Life... Absent 4 a Moment!

October 1995, the day we started... August 2003, the day we said 'I Do'... The Love of My Life - Yean. How could someone that God created be so near perfection?! It startles me to think what a Blessed Guy i've been to have her as my other half. Feelings of unworthiness do creep in but thoughts of Appreciation, Cherish & Treasure affirms my heart that God blesses us with the best for each one of us! What more could i want? What more shall i ask? But to Give my best in return to live for one another to Glorify the God.

Life is so Unpredictable...

Life is indeed but a flash of light that passes by quickly!
My buddy's dad just passed away last nite... :(
Was having my usual badminton game on the usual slow Monday evenings... Had the urge to check on my phone for any missed calls or smses... Read the bad news & was in a daze for awhile... Shocked and saddened to hear the news and lost of words to even think about comforting my fren... Couldn't concentrate on my game for the rest of the nite... On the way to pick up dinner, thot i'd drop by to see if there was anything i could be of help... It was one of those 'rare' occasions where i couldnt think of any words to say but believe my presence alone would be enough...
Suddenly i had this thought which is in the Bible - Our human lives are like the grass in the field... one moment we exist and the wind comes & blow away the grass and we are no more... cant help but just reflect upon my own life to find any significance or impact i may have made to the people around me... Reminded myself not to take life for granted... there's just so much more than the common, mundane, ritualistic, boring tasks that we have to do each day that makes up our lives... but the reason for our existense is to live a life for Jesus! To be His salt of the earth & light of the world.
Be the star God has called u to be... sparkle in the midst of darkness He's placed us in... Live life worthy of a God who loved us enough to give His life for us! ;)

Settling in...

Itz a brand new week... must say it took me awhile to get going this morning... ;(
Still in denial mode - dreamt that itz not working day today... but reality sinks in... sobsob.
Had to fetch my sis to her ex-school early this morning... she's got a Christian Fellowship Camp to attend... she was so excited she called me twice to awaken me from my beautiful sleep... :(
The rest of the day ain't so bad after all... ;)
Finally i get to go to play my favourite game tonite, after missing it for 2 weeks!...
Me goin' 4 Badminton... yehhhhhhh! ;D
Was so excited updating this blog juz now & had a phonecall from a funny number... Guess who? An old OCF friend from Australia... leaving on Wed nite & wanted to meet up, thus the usual 'Happening Me' hafta start calling to get everyone together. Phewww... thank God for a nice sister who's willing to do the Calling & coordinating while i offer my place & do the food... come to think of it, think i'm doing the more 'headache' role but who cares?... itz all for the Fellowship of a Bunch of people who always say, "We've gotta meet up some time" & still no action, so these are rare occasions we can summon everyone for an 'Emergency Catch-Up' session. ;)
Looking forward to an enriching 'Updating Session' with the gang... Adios for 2day, folksss....... Have a Great Week Ahead!!! :D

Still Finding My Ground...

Had a really 'trying' week of running around & doing things which i had NO time 2 reflect or digest what i've done or what exactly happened?! ;( ...eh... that was the week b4 last. :D

22May-Sun: Ex-Colleague's Wedding
23May-Mon: RISK Board Game with the Church Youth
24May-Tues: Teman isteri to visit Gynacologist
25May-Wed: Friend's Wedding Rehearsal (Me, the Planner)
28May-Sat: Wedding @ Wesley Methodist, KL... Fly to Church Family Camp @ PD immediately afterthat...
29May-Sun: Drive back home 2 Zzzzzzz kerana kena kerja hari Isnin. :(
30May-Mon: Fruitful day @ work... lotsa Appointments made, Praise God! 5:15pm... Yahooooo! Left work early to fly back to Port Dickson... great camp! Made the decision to be Available for God to call us to full-time in His time. ;) Drive back home afterthat... hafta work on Tuesday. (First time in my career life i've been denied leave for full church camps... but didn't miss much!)
