Excited... Exhilarating... Expecting...

The above do sound like i'm pregnant... Nah! i m not... neither is Cheryl... ;)
Well, watched a movie where a pregnant announced to her audience that we (me + husband) are pregnant... Interesting?! Wonder if that's how the good news is announced...
Anywayz... the above words paints the picture of how i feel as we come to another weekend... Yahooo! Off to another weekend of fun, continuation of good food from the CNY celebrations and catching up... somehow, i m blessed with a physique that doesnt need to pay much attention to food intake... in fact, i m having reversed psychology where i m responding to people who says to me, "Eat more! u r so skinny... after wind oso can blow u away leh!"... Yummy food and goodies, here i come!

Densed... Delirious... Dumbfounded...

Just hafta write this blog... partially to prove 'someone' wrong... secondly to keep my momentum going... ;)
Itz been a fruitful day for me... God's favour is really REAL... can feel it in my bones... juz that sometimes we can be so 'densed & blur' that we overlook things which God's goodness & favour really gets ur through... especially in moments we really need Him to intervene... in this case, itz about dealing with my customer... having advantage to certain vital information to close a deal against competitive vendors dont come by everyday... those in the sales world will know what i mean.
Altho' it seems like any other ordinary day, i've come to appreciate life's precious moments of appreciating the little things that come and go... such as the blessing to be able to eat in a 'posh' restaurant with an old friend juz chatting away on the 'good old days' altho' i'm not in the age group to use this term 'good old days'... ;P
Juz a reminder to show Kindness to everyone around u... more specifically i'm asking God to make me more aware & guard my tongue whenever i speak... Itz been said that "Words spoken are like water being poured out", thus there's no undoing if we are careless with our speech... hmmm, have been pretty careless over this little part of my body - the tongue. ;D
Okies dokies... signing off early today... did spoke to someone that a Short & Sweet Blog each day is better than travel logs that can really turn us off... hafta to keep to my words then... as much as i can.......
Oops! b4 i go there's one little story i really wanna share that juz came across my mind.......
"The Last Word"
Many time in debates, arguments, quarrels etc... everyone wud like to haf the Last Word. We ought to live in peace with one another. Patience is key... so is Love & Forgiveness. So, whenever u wanna have the last word in an 'argument', let it be SILENCE... End the argument and move on to something more encouraging, k?! ;)

Clearer... Calmer... Collected...

As the above goes... more of myself today after more rest... though many wud agree that Zzzzzzz can never be too much?!. ;P it can actually... sleeping too much may have adverse effects... hmmm, sounds like i'm contradicting my love for sleep. ;)
Another Valentine's came & gone... Tenth year that Cheryl & i met, however our 9th Valentine celebrated. How did it go, u might ask?!
Started work at 8am... finished work around 6.30pm... went straight to BCM (Bible College of Malaysia) for a course on Youth Ministry at 7pm without dinner... {Cheryl was in the other class for her Mandarin Course at the same time} Went home around 10pm to leave a car behind since both of us drove... Proceeded for our Dinner cum Supper at Bon Ton at 10.30pm... Had Chocolate Mud Cake + Delicious Lime Meringue with Ice Cream which is sinfully delicious BUT standard dropped this time, probably due to the amount of COUPLES who flocked the place earlier... {Know what? Two vain pots who love to be in photos forgot to bring along their Camera, arghhh!} Went home around 11.45pm after being stuffed with yummy dessert... Slept after a tiring day.
Sounds like any other day, doesnt it?! Grown out of those Romantic efforts and thots? Nahhh... just that i do date my wife once in a while and those times are like Valentine's Day... oh oh... before i forget, i did got my wife a Sweet Pink Carnation... compliments from BonTon btw... also, i did brought her downtown to buy her flowers on my own but unfortunately the shop was closed... wanted to get her the leftover of roses from street florists but she didnt wanna spend the unnecesary money. Any ideas what i wanted to get her earlier at the florist? ...White Lily!
Still remember one year where i got her that without proper packaging... juz a white mahjong paper to wrap the flower and we went strolling through Petaling Street... heard a comment which goes, "Wahhh, how can? Valentine's Day give white flowers..." sounds like some funeral thingy... nevertheless, thatz the Flower she likes... thatz the most important! :D
Going off work now... 7.30pm... wife preparing food for me... just thot of staying at home together today... no visitation, no dinner at in-laws, no shopping, just laze at home.......

Back... Blur... Blank!

These pretty much sum up my current state of mind, emotion and physically...
Used to be affected very much emotionally when i have to get back to my 'Normal' life after a long break or time spent bumming around... some people simply put it, "Engine still cold, nor warmed up yet lah..."
I guess as i 'advance in age', these volatile emotions of mine are getting more balanced... been praying since yesterday morning on the way to church for God to prepare me to go back to work.
This week, today especially would need me to prepare some stuff which will be needed for the week which i need to get into the mindset to do it... preparing for sales meeting, preparing for a sales presentation and tying up the ends of a deal which is closed, supposedly. ;)
Got in to work by 8am this morning... office was dark & quiet... some shocked to see me in at this hour when others are recovering from their break to drag their bodies back to work... nevertheless, did my Quiet Time (Devotion with God) and got my day going... barely... swamped with MSN messages & phonecalls enquiring about my family car which we wanted to sell... these distractions didn't help in my determination to start my engines & start working of course. ;(
Anywayz, juz thot i'd drop a few lines here before all my 'readers' delete my weblink from their PC... :P
So, have a Great Week ahead... in the midst of all the fun, laughter & feasting... letz settle down in reality and enjoy our work... else it'll be a dread and the hours will 'snail' by...
