Commercial Break...

Before i post my so called 'masterpiece' for my 3weeks of updates, will need to do a quick commercial break comment for a fellow Blogger... the reason why i didnt juz give my comments directly is because this explains fairly much about my personality. ;)
My Fellow 'Otter',
Itz a joy to be a 'Sanguine'... by experience... we bring the cheer & laughter to the dull and sleepy situations, revive the fainthearted & light the sad faces. Altho, we are not God where His Joy & Peace far outweighs what we could bring. Nevertheless, personalities like ours exist for a reason too... to contribute to His joy. ;) [Sanguine & Otter is one of the 4 kinds of Personality found in the book 'Why We Act The Way We Do?' by the author, Tim LaHaye...]
I guess the best method to be an Encouragement to anyone is - to befriend them before any tragedies happen... i know - we can't befriend anyone everyone out there but ppl like me who talks *non-stop should try to reach out to as many, whenever, wherever we can... Because when sad things happens, we can offer words of comfort from someone they know and not someone trying to be intelligent out of nowhere trying to say a comforting word... ;)
I haf the same predicament too... regrets & guilt floods the mind hoping to rewind things & do it differently, but we cant. Nevertheless i'll still try to share whatever i can when i feel confident to be of encouragement... Let me share with u a principle i hold dearly... "Which one is worst? 1. Being silent and not say a word to let the other person know how we feel, thus not allowing the other person a chance to be encouraged by our words... 2. Share our opinions and hope that it will be of help, although there's a chance we might have said something wrong..."
I would want to give the other person a chance to hear me out & filter what's good and what's not rather than missing a chance to say something 'meaningful' which could change their perception and their life... ;) Of course i am conscious for the need of Refining my Empathy in these sensitive situations. :D

Writing or Reading?

Been missing for awhile... in fact a rather long while... like 3 weeks to be precise. Though i've not written, i've been reading & filling in my comments. Was juz wandering whether itz more blessed to write or to read & encourage... I guess itz different, huh?! We can still encourage the readers by doing both. ;) So, i've decided to update myself on whatz been happening for the past 3 weeks in snapshots of events and also put some events in a nutshell... btw, would like to know whether has anyone been fed up of waiting for updates or are there still souls coming in to check on any new happenings...?! So... while i compose my piece for my absence, if anyone is reading this, please drop me a comment to let me know there are still souls out there who's aware of this blog. :D Have a Great Day, k?! :)

Miracle Happens... Part II

Well... now i can get started on a clean sheet.
Wanna give all the praise to God for His favour... I'm doing Sales in a Telecommunications Solution Company & my main target customer is one of the Telecommunication Company ('Telco') in Malaysia.
So, i have been 'camping' in there for some time now hoping to sell my solutions to them. We've had two Solutions on showcase right now - Location Based Service & Voice Portal. Both are very interesting solution for Mobile Users. Let me do a quick run through on what these solutions are like...
1. Location Based Service ('LBS') is a solution that allows Mobile Users to find someone else or be found in a particular location. For example, i could be shopping in the City Centre when itz almost tea time... thus i would like to locate a some friends who could be in my vicinity to have tea with me. This solution allows me find out the location those whom i wanna meet without calling or SMSing them. This is so intrusive, you may ask? For someone to locate you or for you to locate someone, the other party needs to give Permission, thus it's Safe! :D
2. Voice Portal ('VP') is a tool where we can perhaps scroll or browse through the menus or services offered by our mobile carriers. It's basically using voice instead of keying in to choose the services you want for your mobile services... this could be another big potential to explode in the mobile world besides the usual SMSing around us today! :D
Back to my miracle... We've waited for almost 3 months to sell the ideas to the relevant people in the Telco but due to their busyness or procrastination, we were dragged for some time wandering anxiously our chances of closing either of the solutions above. At first, the LBS seems a big potential to close while VP was like in 'Screen Saver' mode without much progress... then guess what? On Monday, i was just telling someone in the Telco that we have something called a VP in demo at their company, he was very excited and started arranging a meeting with some 'big shots' in the Telco to discuss on the VP idea and how we can move forward....... Now, is that a Miracle or what? There's a chinese saying called "Salted Fish come back to life" where this VP solution has been revisited & prayerfully we can close the deal soon... not forgetting i wanna close the LBS deal too!!!
Praying for God's favour & grace with the product owners and especially the decision makers... Nevertheless, i wanna give all Glory to God for this opportunity and progress no matter the outcome because God is so good! :)

Miracle Happens...

Itz been a week since my Introduction to the Blog World... I figured out that it really takes discipline & consistency to keep the blog updated & going everyday. I ask myself whether i'm more of a Writer or a Reader?! Guess whatz the answer... Neither! ;P I enjoy reading clips & catchy phrases or articles on subjects that interest me... e.g. Relationships, Sports, Travel, Outdoors... etc. To be a writer myself to keep the blog updated on my every move & action going on around me is really something else...
People know me as one who can talk & talk & talk & talk & talk till the cows come home & go back into the fields again & there you are... Jared is still talking. However, those who know me better, especially my dear beloved wife would know i can be a man of little words... FAR OUT, you may say... nevertheless i can do the Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde stuff. I find this rather amusing or fascinating sometimes... cause, knowing the ladies... many don't prefer 'Open Books' for their life partners... this is speaking from the experience of being called 'A Ladies Man' from some of my friends.
Knowing my personality well... I guess such habits die hard in trying to impress the ladies whenever i can wherever i am! ;) It's not that i'm trying to be funny or flirtatious around my friends, thatz just me when i tend to crack jokes & being funny. However, as days go by, not that i'm some old man already, i've been confronted with the thought: What do i benefit from all these shallow & worthless chatter??? I do keep silent once in a while these days just to enjoy the silence & feel what it's like to be a Generous Listener & find out things that i missed when i compete for the opportunity to talk when others listen... Sometimes i really feel like some dumb-dumb revealing so much of myself & especially allowing others the opportunity to tease by some careless words spoken. But knowing me, someone did told me once that she likes the part of me that easily forgive, forget and move on... who would know me better than my wife... ;)
Wow! A brief update could come up to this LONGGG... was actually thinking to post a Miracle that happened in my work on Monday... well, stay tuned to Part II of this so that you wouldn't fall asleep on this posting!... Later.
